Bin It Brand Development

The need

The Keep Australia Beautiful Programme WA has been running for many years and is one that many Western Australians have been part of. Research has shown that we all take considerable pride in the beauty of our state, and we all enjoy what that allows. However, as populations grow, diversify and spread, the Department of Environment Regulation face the on-going challenge to deliver a very important message.

 

The response

Along with the development of the key messaging and visuals via the ‘Bin It – You Know it’s the Right Thing to Do’ brand, we helped to develop a competition designed to encourage university and high school students to create their own 30 second TV advert using the proposition ‘Did you just drop one?’. We received some very creative entries with the winner being aired at Rottofest 2013.  Also developed were a range of campaign pieces, including a one minute video, A5 counter cards, postcards, magnets, posters and large-format banners with a mainstream campaign through outdoor and cinema.
