We’ve just hit launch on the 2025 edition of Rio Tinto’s ‘Contribution to Western Australia’.

From the outset, we wanted to keep it simple: to share the human stories behind the work, and the real impact across WA.

Projects like this are never the work of one team. There are always a lot of moving parts behind the scenes – and plenty of coffee.

A big thank you to the Rio team, Andrew, Samantha and Mel, for entrusting us to help bring this to life. Now into our third edition together, that shared trust has made it a genuinely strong (and fun) working partnership from start to finish.

And to the CADM team – Mon, Han, Darren, Steph, Jeremy and Amit – for their work across planning, writing, interviewing, editing, design and project management over the past six months. A real team effort all round.

But most importantly, thank you to the people who shared their personal stories. We learnt so much from Rio’s operations to the incredible community organisations and individuals making a real difference across WA.
